Today’s prompt: Together
This week there are hundreds of women attending a blogging conference in South Carolina. Their love for blogging is not what brought them together. It’s their love for Christ and their need to share with the world. They are one voice together for these few days once a year. They join at the hip and sing, and learn, and are inspired, and drink a lot of coffee, and eat a lot of chocolate- {there are Nutella addicts there – or so I’ve been told}. Their one goal – to glean while they are together, to sow when they are apart. They do this well- the togetherness, the building of community, the renewing of friendships made in years past that have been maintained by that thin thread of words on a line.
How do I know this?
I’ve been there and will be again God willing. Together with them wrapped up in words; a bond that binds us all-together in heart, soul, mind. We women, we women of God, we write, we go, we tell of what He has done for us, to us and in us and we offer His gift to the world. Together even when we’re apart.
This will be written for the generation to come, that a people yet to be created may praise the Lord. Psalm 102:18
