Speak that I may hear You and You only.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>Prayer is presenting my requests and petitions to Him.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Here\u2019s where I am Lord. Here\u2019s what\u2019s going on in my life and the lives of those around me. I know You know already, but I have to tell You because You only do I trust with these needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>Prayer is confessing \u2013 all- to Him.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">My sin is ever before me, You have told me that it is forgiven and is as far as the east is from the west, so I give my sin to You.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>Prayer is asking for forgiveness.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Forgive my unbelief, forgive my sin, forgive my hard heart, forgive my lack of trust, forgive my tongue. Forgive me. Mercy and Grace, Lord, mercy and grace.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>Prayer is Worship.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Oh, Lord You are King of the Universe, Author and Creator of all, only You are worthy.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>Prayer is Praise.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">I praise You for You are my King, You provided a Way when there was No way. I see You in the flowers in the field, in the sunrises and the sunsets, in the shape of the clouds, in the face of a child. I hear you in the storm, in the crashing waves, in the gentle breeze through the trees of the forest, in the voice of the crow and the eagle. I feel Your touch in a baby\u2019s breath, in the hand of an old woman, in the caress of the man I love. I taste Your handiwork in the sweetness of a strawberry, the salt of the sea, the tang of the grapefruit. I smell Your joy in the lavender, rose, and gardenia, the lemon and the jasmine.\u00a0 You are in all good things.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>Prayer is gratitude for His good gifts.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Thank You for providing for me, for placing me here in this time in this place, with these people, here on this journey, thank You for giving me a purpose, thank You for all things from Your Hand.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>Prayer is acceptance of His Will.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Teach me to be content Lord, to accept all things from Your Hand.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>Prayer is extending my trust to Him and to His Will.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\">I trust You, Lord. You are the Potter I am the clay; cracked pot though I may be; here I am use me for Your Glory.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #3d85c6;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><br \/>\n<strong><em>May my prayer be set before you like incense<\/em><\/strong><em>; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice. Psalm 141:2<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #3d85c6;\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em>And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and<strong>\u00a0they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>are the prayers of God\u2019s people<\/strong>.
