\u00a0<\/strong>Posit:<\/strong>\u00a0That we all feel insignificant, harbor insecurities, feel we\u2019ve been left out of the game, and are worthless at least once in our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

We ALL battle this oppression imposed on us. It comes with the territory- this earth that we are bound to while we are breathing. This world that is dying, doomed, twisted and flawed because of its own sin. This world that is straining against the will of the evil one imposed only because he has been allowed to wander this place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether it is only fleeting or it comes to dwell on our shoulders off and on throughout our lives, there is that sense of insignificance-that we are nothing or less than nothing. That feeling that we get when we look up into the face of the stars on a moonless night, that we are a grain of sand on one of a thousand beaches.<\/span><\/p>\n

I sense that within us all there can be that part that doubts whether we can completely accept the gift of redemption and forgiveness from the hand of God that we received when we believed that Jesus paid the price of our sin and disbelief.\u00a0<\/strong>If only because we doubt our worth to Him<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAmazing love, how can it be? That thou, my God, shouldst die for me?\u201d- Charles Wesley<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Who am I<\/em>\u00a0that You, my God, would die for me?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Shouldn\u2019t I be doing something? Making a mark on this world? Make others see my significance? Wouldn\u2019t that make it more certain? My salvation, that is?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh, dear friend, we still have to get past the doing and\u00a0simply be<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Be His. His alone.<\/span><\/p>\n

He loves. He carries. He holds. He comforts. He heals. He is enough.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is coming. For us.\u00a0 Me and You. The worthless bag of bones that we were – is no more.\u00a0 Because we are significant to Him. Because He loves us.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDo not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0In my Father\u2019s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0You know the way to the place where I am going.\u201d John 14:1-4<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFor you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers,<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.\u201d 1 Peter 1: 18-20<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span>But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0They said to you, \u201cIn the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.<\/span>\u00a0But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.<\/span>\u00a0Keep yourselves in God\u2019s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Be merciful to those who doubt;<\/span>\u00a0snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear\u2014hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.\u201d Jude 17-23<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
