The white hot sun is lowering itself in the sky as I aimlessly float on the pool. I look up at the expanse of that deep in the \u00a0heart of Texas \u00a0blue sky, bleached pale by the sun’s scorching stare.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The wisps \u00a0of clouds look like runaway stray hairs. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Long. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Trailing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As if God was rearranging it with His fingers. I bask in the goodness He gives – the cool water, the trees-those crape myrtles that flourish and thrive in the heat. Their blooms full-tilt in your face. White, pale pink, hot pink, lavender and my favorite, the deep red ones all painted from God’s palette. I am reminded of how much He loves me when I am surrounded by His creation.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\nThis is my worship today.<\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\nHere.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\nWith His creation that shouts:\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n“See me? He made me!”<\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\nThen Jesus said to his disciples:\u00a0\u201cTherefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.\u00a0<\/span>For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.\u00a0<\/span>Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them.\u00a0And how much more valuable you are than birds! Luke 12:22-24<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
