Repeat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">From the moment we are born till our last breath we measure life by the number of breaths.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Always, the exhale signals the end of a breath.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">We hold our breath in anticipation, in dread, and on exertion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In labor, we measure the contractions and ride each wave by the way we inhale and exhale until new life enters the world and the process continues&#8230;inhale&#8230;exhale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">It\u2019s an amazing process, fresh air loaded with oxygen brings life to us and the exhale removes the waste.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">A forced exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In goes the good air, out comes the bad.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The forceful release of our breath can indicate relief, relaxation, concentration, and frustration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Imagine that- a normal body function that no one thinks about reveals so much.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">It is a barometer of feelings, that exhale.\u00a0 The telltale of what is going on inside.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">That sigh at the end of the exhale reveals the truth of our feelings, belying our words of \u201cI\u2019m fine, really, I\u2019m just fine.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">We mark time with that release of breath.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">We watch loved ones slowly slip away with those last breaths until the last here on this earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">But the first exhale gave life from God to Adam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">And the rest\u2026. Is our story.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The measure of our days is really a summation of all the exhales we experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">It fills books, writes history,tells stories, leaves legacies and blessings and curses; it offers encouragement and signals defeat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The tale of all that\u2019s occurred from that first gasp to the last.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">What does your exhale reveal about you?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\">Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000080;\">Genesis 2:7<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s prompt is: Exhale Inhale\u2026exhale.
